1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using ReelRank ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this Service.

These terms apply to all users of the Service, including organization administrators, team captains, anglers, and visitors.

2. Description of Service

ReelRank is a fishing circuit management platform that enables organizations to manage seasons, teams, events, registrations, scoring, standings, and communications. The Service allows users to:

  • Create and manage fishing circuit organizations
  • Register and manage teams and team memberships across seasons
  • Register for and participate in fishing tournament events
  • Record and view tournament scores, standings, and rankings
  • Upload and share event photos
  • Manage registration documents, waivers, and agreements
  • Communicate with organization members through announcements and notifications

3. Use License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for its intended purposes — including creating and managing organizations, teams, events, registrations, and scores. Under this license you may not:

  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service or its underlying software
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the Service
  • Use the Service to build a competing product or service
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Service to unauthorized third parties

4. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree not to disclose your password to any third party and to take sole responsibility for any activities or actions under your account. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any unauthorized use of your account.

Accounts are personal and may not be shared. Organization administrators are responsible for managing user access within their organizations.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
  • Transmit any worms, viruses, or any code of a destructive nature
  • Impersonate or attempt to impersonate another user or person
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
  • Use any robot, spider, or other automatic device to access the Service
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Submit false or misleading tournament scores, registration information, or other data
  • Circumvent any access controls, authentication mechanisms, or security features

6. User Content

The Service allows you to upload, post, and share content including event photos, profile avatars, organization logos, documents, and other materials ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content.

By uploading or submitting User Content to the Service, you grant ReelRank a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service. This includes displaying photos in event galleries (including public galleries shared via link), showing avatars and logos on the platform, and making documents available to organization members.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to your User Content, and that your User Content does not infringe the rights of any third party.

You are solely responsible for your User Content. We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we find objectionable, without prior notice.

7. Event Photos and Galleries

Organization administrators may upload photos to event galleries. Event galleries may be shared publicly via a shareable link. By uploading photos to an event gallery, you acknowledge that those photos may be viewed by anyone with the gallery link.

If you appear in an event photo and wish to have it removed, please contact the organization administrator or reach out to us through our contact page.

8. Organization Waivers and Agreements

Individual fishing circuit organizations may require you to accept custom waivers, rules, or registration agreements as a condition of participating in their events or seasons. These agreements are created and managed by the respective organizations, not by ReelRank.

ReelRank facilitates the presentation and acceptance tracking of these agreements but is not a party to them and is not responsible for their content, enforceability, or legal effect. Any questions or disputes regarding organization-specific agreements should be directed to the relevant organization.

Your acceptance of organization waivers and agreements is recorded by the platform. Organizations may update their agreement text at any time; you may be required to accept updated agreements for future registrations.

9. Tournament Scores and Standings

Tournament scores are entered by organization administrators and are displayed on event scoreboards and season standings pages. Scores, standings, and rankings are provided for informational purposes based on data entered into the platform.

ReelRank is a tool for recording and displaying scores as entered by authorized administrators. We do not independently verify the accuracy of scores, catch weights, or other tournament data. Any disputes regarding scoring should be directed to the relevant organization administrator. ReelRank shall not be liable for errors in score entry, calculation, or display, or for any decisions made by organizations based on the data in the platform.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of ReelRank and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may contact us through our contact page to request account deletion.

Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that accrued prior to termination. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the results obtained from the use of the Service will be accurate or reliable.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall ReelRank, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your use of or inability to use the Service
  • Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in tournament scores, standings, or other content
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Actions taken by organization administrators within the platform
  • Any third-party conduct or content on the Service

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ReelRank and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property or privacy right; or (d) any User Content that you upload or share through the Service.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, either party may pursue resolution through the courts of competent jurisdiction as described in Section 16.

Disputes regarding tournament scores, event results, or organization-specific rules are between you and the relevant organization, and should be resolved directly with the organization administrator.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Pennsylvania for the resolution of any disputes.

17. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
